Historical Note
The Art Book Review was a webzine and “compendium of reviews about books vaguely relating to the subject of art” which operated from 2012–2018. It was first founded and edited by Andrew Berardini and Sarah Williams, later edited by Jaye Fishel as well as Rosie Prata, and it was managed by Meg Whiteford. Artist books would be traded for reviews. This collection is the remainder of TABR’s “outpost” at the Los Angeles Contemporary Archive from 2014–2015, where they could be found on Friday afternoons. Items were donated by The Art Book Review, Edward R. Beardsley, Michiel Huijben, Sara Knox Hunter, Libby Pratt, and Jrp Ringer. [Sources: 1, 2]
