"This is a flyer from the first public event at the Chestnut Lodge. It was a celebration of the filthiest aspects of the human psyche with a focus on installation, performance, and music. The performances featured props such as a dead fish, a decrepid mattress, fecal matter, cheez whiz, a saxaphone, and assless chaps for an S&M spa class. There was also a nude dancer, who was the focus of a film that screened during the show and performed throughout the night. Many attendees brought offerings of chocolate, wine, or flowers for admission to the show." - Kane Lafia
