Honoring the decade long legacy of the Woman’s Building Vesta Awards (1982-1991), the Avest awards of 2017 selected WCCW for their Community Activism award. The award is a small sewn garment made from screen printed paper on a wooden stand, with a paper tag, handwritten inscription congratulation the Women's Center for Creative Work.
