Close Distance is an international poetics journal of and about work in process that generates dialogue and collaboration between artists, (art) spaces, (art) publications and audiences. Founded in a philosophy of becoming, making, and moving Close Distance focuses on before finished states of work, allowing both maker and audience to divert from questions about success, failure and understanding to finding a place between different parties that is open for interpretation, influence, and conversation instead.
