Dinosaurs is an artists' book co-produced by the 2020–21 fellows of the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston: Víctor Albarracín Llanos, Qais Assali, Maggie Jensen, Irmak Karasu, Niloufar, Kara Springer, Sindhu Thirumalaisamy and Ana Tuazon; with additional contributions from Amanda Assaley, Hannah Feldman, Jagdeep Raina, and leo. This book illuminates the ways in which the aritsts and writers were thinking, feeling, and working in common despite the unwieldy distances between them during their fellowship year. It includes meditations on the body (humming, growling, out of breath, as Denise Ferreira da Silva’s 'corpus infinitum'), reflections on contemporary crises, from the climate disasters of the United States’ West and Gulf coasts to the Indian farmers’ protest, and ideas for building solidarity and kinship amidst the ruins of institutions.
