Description: br>
These shoes were worn in various instances, one of them during the Montreal Burlesque Festival where I performed as Coco Ono. This is when I started to incorporate my bejeweled leaf blower, which I took to Canada. The act was called "The Socially Acceptable Drug," where I eat, strip, and blow my hair with the leaf blower. The most recent use of the shoes was for a show called (not my) President's Day with A Queer Cabaret, where I stripped and stepped on a graham cracker cake made to look like the white house. Some of the cake is still caked on the bottom of the heels. I used my stripping money to purchase costumes items like this for burlesque and performance art shows.
