LACA

Urban Whiff is a series of olfactory books that capture the unique smells of various cities. The ongoing project is curated by Provisional Art Spaces [PAS], published by Base Camp Press and printed by Paper Chase Press in Los Angeles.  In 2018, Base Camp published UW: Belgrade, UW: Berlin and UW: London in association with art projects at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Belgrade), Agora Collective (Berlin) and Rufus Stone Performance Space (London). Each volume has been fully illustrated and infused with a unique fragrance by New Mexico-based olfactory artist Anna Novakov. The limited-edition series is intended to be a conceptual work of art as well as a portable reminder of various urban spaces.
